He’s not naked, he has his dad’s sock on his arm!

Tuesday was Llamaface’s birthday, so I surprised him with a trip to Vancouver.  We had awesome Indian food for lunch, spent time at Science World, ate sushi at Tojo’s for dinner, then came home.  All the while he wore his birthday socks, which I made in 11 days, staying up until 3:15 a.m. Tuesday morning to finish the second one.

When we got home, my third and final Sock it to Me package was waiting for me.  Of course I can’t find the camera cord, but the socks fit great (a bit loose in the circumference, but they’ll shrink up as I wash them & nothing too drastic, I just like a snug sock) and the doodads and containers will come in handy.  The calendar is pure key-oot, and the pattern book is just what every knitting library needs.  Thanks, pal!
Work has been going well, though I am exhausted when I get home.  I really do like my job, though, it’s a lot of fun.  More fun than your average retail job, that’s for sure.

Boogersibling is doing well.  I finally felt movement 2 weeks ago, and am feeling little kicks here & there just about every evening.  We go for the 20-week ultrasound on Monday, and while I won’t disclose the gender, I’m thinking a “guess that name” contest would be fun.  No belly pics have been taken yet, and like I said up there *points* I can’t find the camera cord, but I should probably get on that.  I took a bunch when I was pregnant with Boogermonkey, I should do the same for this little one.
